Ping pong

Any minute now - depending on whether British or Continental time rules - I will cease to be a Pro and become a Member again. Not much of a big deal really, except it is the pantomime season and I have a niggling worry that my blog or I will turn into a pumpkin at the stroke of midnight.

And I've realised that I really, really do not want to disappear in a puff of smoke before I discover what a 'ping' is. The ones that my blog promises to send every time I write a post. But never does, as far as I can tell.

Has everyone else been pinged or is my blog the only wallflower at this party?

  It's a mystery that's been bugging me for a while now. Seems I'm not alone in not having a clue what they are, so that's something!
