Or so it seems to me today. No gloves or hat or double layers of fleece necessary. Sunshine after the rain, sparkly raindrops everywhere. Signs of growth in the garden. Guilt over non-gardening efforts growing.

Tried to take a photo of some of the bulbs that have miraculously appeared, despite the best efforts of the local badger, our dog and next door's cat. My usual crappy attempts at photography - still can't work out how to take a close-up photo or not get your shadow in the way!

But here are some very pretty Iris reticulata bulbs complete with sparkly raindrops on them.
