Well, after a truly fantastic couple of days of sunshine, today looked promising too. Sat outside with my breakfast cup of tea in the early morning sun and all was well in my world.
By lunchtime, grey clouds had descended, the breeze had stiffened into gusty whirls and swirls and the first cooling breath of drizzle arrived ...
And that can only mean one thing, can't it?
Yes, today I had a lunchtime hair appointment. An appointment that cost me the GNP of a small oil-rich island in the Outer Hebrides. My split ends may have been removed and my roots may now be covered but no-one can possibly tell as my hairstyle has been turned upside down.
In fact, I look as if I have just spent the afternoon sailing in the Outer Hebrides.
