Fiddling while blog burns?

I've seen some very nice blog designs recently. It's made me feel that I am saddled with a blog that is the equivalent of an avocado green bathroom suite in an otherwise des. res.

So I am going to look around and have a fiddle.

And a glass of wine.

A possibly lethal combination.

If blogland goes down in a few minutes, it wasn't me. Right?

  Bah! I gave up. Too much like hard work. But as one of my earliest friends, you might recognise the design I found! Thought I'd lost it when I deleted Flowergirl blog. x

  It depends on how you define different. New different - no. Old different - yes.

      Yes, it's the colour I wish the sky had been today. Might have to make it warmer when the nights get colder though!

I couldn't agree more.

What I mean is that mine is boring too and I'm just so inadequate, I don't know how to blast myself into the pure white, heated towel rail blogisphere. If your blog design is avocado green, then mine is tin bath in front of the fire!!!!!!

I have glass of wine in hand........which is as lethal as grenade with the pin just pulled.

  I delayed the glass of wine to see if I could morph my blog into a marbled-tile, freestanding designer stone bath with champagne in ice bucket accessory (no stretching required, please) kind of bathroom.
  
  Might as well have swigged the whole bottle of wine ....

I like this one and a change is indeed as good as a rest! I never seem to get round to fiddling with mine, but then i don't really know what i am doing x

  Thank you - I was surprised it was still here from when I deleted my first blog at the beginning of the year.
  
  I only have a faint idea of what to do, so my heart is always in my mouth when I fiddle with the design bit!

  Well your design was one of those I was thinking of, and is well worth the effort. But I've found it hard to find blogging time lately, so I gave up designing so I could catch up on reading other blogs. x

Ah yes we used to have an avacado bathroom suite in our last house. Strangely I still miss it.

Nothing wrong with your blog design, looks fine to me.

(but then I like avacado brm suites so don't necessarily trust my judgement)

  Yes, I had an avocado suite in my first house. And I think all-white bathrooms are too stark and cold-looking (which is what we've inherited here in a north-facing bathroom (shudder).
  
  I read somewhere that avocado suites are making a comeback though, so who knows! x

  There is a 'design' button you press - then it's heart in your mouth time as you press a variety of buttons at random whilst keeping your fingers crossed you don't lose everything! x

Can't beat a north-facing bathroom. Come to think of it, I'd be happy with any old bathroom. All I have is a spider-infested showery thing that I use if there's 'j' in the month, a separate loo that I use in emergencies and a washbasin hidden somewhere but I can't remember where.
